Book Review of The Ethics of Touch

I recently read The Ethics of Touch: The Hands-on Practitioner's Guide To Creating a Professional, Safe and Enduring Practice, by Ben E. Benjamin, Ph.D. and Cherie Sohnen-Moe, and found page after page of everything massage therapists wondered about ethics. It covers how to start with a client, how to complete the client/practitioner relationship, and everything in between. An educator in the field can glean a great foundation for many touchy or delicate issues. It would be a good book to include in school libraries or classes. Each chapter ends with a chapter review followed by great questions to promote discussion and activity. Our vocation has needed a source such as this since massage therapy has become a profession.
